Membership |
The following shall be eligible for membership of the society. (a) Persons bearing the name Lamont or Lamond or kindred names (b) All lineal descendants of such (c) The husbands of clanswomen (d) The wives of clansmen (e) Others who may establish a claim to be members of the clan and their descendants. (f) Anyone who having rendered important service to the society, makes application for membership, and who in the unanimous opinion of the council is worthy of membership on account of such a service. The council shall have power to enquire into and adjudicate upon the claims of the applicant for membership whose title to such may be doubtful. |
Here is how to apply: 1. Download our application below, fill it out and include a brief family history. 2. Pay your dues with PayPal or write a cheque payable to The Clan Lamont Society. 3. Post the application, history and cheque to our Secretary at the address below. You will recieve a welcome pack on receipt of dues which is membership certificate, constitution, history of Clan Lamont, and more. |
